🇪🇸 Life is good in Spain
… we’re not the only ones who think so: respondents in the Expat Insider survey agree. Since 2022, the survey has consistently ranked Spain among the top 10. In 2025, respondents praised the ease of settling in and, in particular, the high quality of life – putting Spain in first place in the current survey. For details, see Internations.

🌳 Change, again?
This May, Rayaworx Coworking celebrated its 10th anniversary. Over the past few years, we have repeatedly adapted our concept and premises to changing market developments. Most recently, we purchased two soundproof telephone booths for the many parallel video conferences.
In 2025, we once again adapt to developments in our village and the surrounding region. “Shrink to fit”: We are focusing on one and a half of the three areas on the ground floor of our building. Since mid-June 2025, we have had 2 to 6 spaces available for coworkers in Santanyí, depending on requirements.

📞 Looking for peace and calm?
Phone booth!
If you know anyone here in Mallorca who you can recommend to buy a used and well-maintained telephone booth, do so! There is no specialized second-hand market on the island, especially for office furniture. The booth is in great condition, sustainably produced in Portugal, and, with its surprisingly small footprint, is no longer available from the manufacturer in this form.
On Mondays and Saturdays, it can be viewed and purchased at Joan’s small second-hand shop in Santanyí. Part of the proceeds will go to the HOPE Mallorca association. Doris contributed to the foundation’s food bank in 2020 and 2021, providing people in the Santanyí area with basic foodstuffs.
HOPE Mallorca now works with partners to protect families from homelessness and debt. Children from disadvantaged backgrounds receive educational support in the form of homework help. HOPE Mallorca also provides medical support for people in need. Why not drop by on market mornings—you might find something you need and do some good at the same time.

We are delighted to invite you to the art night on October 11 17 from 6 pm to 11 pm*. Since September, two wonderful artists have been bringing the PopUp ArtSpace in our building to life!
- Jacqueline Wolff • JA.WOLFF: Her paintings will transport you to the sea—let yourself be enchanted by her fascinating motifs of the coast and waves.
- Maren Giloy • Klotz & Klunker: She presents her idiosyncratic and unique jewelry designs as a goldsmith.

✍️ Start your writing project or blog in November!
Use November to tackle your big writing project – whether it’s a book manuscript, blog launch, blog relaunch, or another important writing project.
Doris is offering her intensive Online Writing Club free of charge in November: every morning, before the day’s work begins, participants will spend an hour working on their projects in a relaxed atmosphere. Everyone works on their own, but not alone.
The best part: after switching to daylight saving time, 7:30 a.m. isn’t as early as it sounds! Take advantage of the time difference and start your day productively and focused before anyone else even wakes up!
