Vielleicht habt ihr es in Social Media mitverfolgt: Der September hatte einige Überraschungen für uns. Während der kurzen aber enorm ergiebigen Regenfälle in Santanyí lief uns jedes Mal der Innenhof über. Zum Glück konnten wir inzwischen mit Munar Miquel Santanyí herausfinden, warum: Ein Baum auf dem Platz vor dem Coworking Space hatte Durst und wuchs munter in den Ablauf hinein.
Die starken Regenfälle verzögerten die Arbeiten an der Zisterne, das Projekt ist dank dem Team von Joan Schaffner Constructor nun fertig. Damit können wir ab sofort viel Plastik einsparen und auch Geräte wie Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine oder Thermen langfristiger nutzen. Das Wasser in Santanyí enthält neben viel Kalk auch viel zu viel Salz. Daher mussten wir für das Kochen und Pflanzengiessen Wasser in Plastikflaschen einkaufen.
Die Kapazität im Coworking Space ist wieder erhöht, wir haben jedoch weiterhin ein Auge darauf, dass wir ein mögliches Infektionsrisiko so gering wir möglich halten.

NICHTOBER Art-Challenge
Cartoonist Joscha Sauer rief für Oktober die #NICHTOBER Challenge aus, zu der es gilt jeden Tag eine Zeichnung zu von ihm vorgegebenen Begriffen anzufertigen. Wir sind mit im Team Wohlfühl-Clan unserer digitalen Coworking Community cowirkspace dabei. Die Beiträge könnt ihr hier im Blogbeitrag mit Galerie bewundern.
„Pretober“ für den NaNoWriMo mit Doris
Im November findet der weltweite National Novel Writing Month statt, ein kreatives Schreibprojekt, das im Jahr 1999 von dem Amerikaner Chris Baty ins Leben gerufen wurde. Der Oktober ist der Monat zur Vorbereitung, der „Pretober“. Wenn ihr auch Lust habt, endlich euer Buch- oder Blogprojekt mit Inhalten zu füllen: Doris wird eine Online-Gruppe für den November anbieten, damit ihr am Ball bzw. den Tasten bleibt. Das Ziel ist, in einem Monat 50.000 Wörter zu schreiben… Meldet euch bei Doris!

Octubre con Rayaworx
Quizás hayas seguido nuestras experiencias en las redes sociales: Septiembre nos deparó algunas sorpresas. Durante las breves pero intensas lluvias en Santanyí, el patio se desbordaba cada vez. Afortunadamente, desde entonces hemos podido averiguar el motivo con Munar Miquel Santanyí: un árbol de la plaza frente al espacio de coworking tenía sed y crecía alegremente hacia el desagüe.
Las fuertes lluvias retrasaron la renovación de la cisterna, el proyecto ya está terminado gracias al equipo de Joan Schaffner Constructor. A partir de ahora, podemos ahorrar mucho plástico y también utilizar aparatos como lavavajillas, lavadoras o calentadores de agua durante más tiempo. El agua de Santanyí no sólo contiene mucha cal, sino también demasiada sal. Por lo tanto, tuvimos que comprar agua en botellas de plástico para cocinar y regar las plantas.
Se ha vuelto a aumentar la capacidad del espacio de coworking, pero seguimos vigilando para mantener un posible riesgo de infección lo más bajo posible.

Maybe you followed our experiences on social media: September held some surprises for us. During the short but heavy rains in Santanyí, the courtyard overflowed every time. Fortunately, we have since been able to find out why with Munar Miquel Santanyí: a tree in the square in front of the coworking space was thirsty and blithely grew into the drain.
The heavy rains delayed the work on the cistern, the project is now finished thanks to the team of Joan Schaffner Constructor. From now on, we can save a lot of plastic and also use appliances such as dishwashers, washing machines or water heaters for a longer period of time. The water in Santanyí contains not only a lot of lime but also too much salt. Therefore, we had to buy water in plastic bottles for cooking and watering plants.
The capacity in the Space has been increased again, but we are still keeping an eye on keeping a possible risk of infection as low as possible.
