It’s strawberry season in Mallorca! The days are getting longer and warmer, warming up the green courtyard at the Rayaworx coworking space.

Spring in Mallorca has a very special magic about it. Here in Santanyí, we can feel it all around us at the moment. Anyone who steps into our coworking space these days will notice straight away: everything is turning green, flowers are blooming, and the desire to work outdoors is growing.

Rainer’s green thumb

We have our host Rainer to thank for the fact that our patio has been transformed into a little green oasis. With a lot of care (and a knack for local flora), he has ensured that the plants are in full bloom just in time for the start of the season.

It’s much more relaxing to think amongst palm fronds and blossoms, isn’t it?

High-speed internet in the shade of plants

Many people ask us: “Can I really work in the courtyard?” 
The answer is: For sure!

We know that a lovely atmosphere is no use if the internet keeps cutting out. That’s why we’ve made sure our 1 Gb symmetrical fibre-optic connection performs flawlessly, even out in the courtyard.

A longing gaze towards summer

We’re not the only ones enjoying the warmer rays of sunshine. Every now and then, you’ll spot our furry coworking cat Mando in the Space. The tomcat likes to take up his usual spot right by the front door and gaze out at the square in front of Santanyí’s Old Town Gate, as if he were longing for the approaching summer.

Perhaps he’s just waiting for the next batch of co-workers to give him a quick cuddle before they dive back into their projects.

Sweet breaks & neighbourly love

And what’s the one thing you absolutely can’t do without on a perfect working day in our courtyard? That’s right: a proper break!

Coworking Host Doris has just kicked off the culinary season for spring: she was spotted with a beaming smile (and an even more delicious slice of strawberry cake)! Why? Because it’s strawberry season in Mallorca right now. The fruits are now ripe, red and incredibly sweet.

She brought this delicious cake straight from our wonderful neighbours, the café re.sen.
