11 Years of Rayaworx Coworking Mallorca

You’ve probably guessed right: that was the beautiful sun umbrella (our ‘Señora Sombrilla’) that graced our premises for so long. If you’d like to see the parasol being carried through the Porta Murada again, click here to watch the short YouTube video.
We can hardly believe it: it’s already been 11 years since people started finding professional opportunities at Rayaworx. Initially, we were based on Carrer Bernat Vidal i Tomàs at the entrance to Cala Figuera. For the past seven years, we have been located in a renovated townhouse opposite the old town gate. With a wonderfully green patio, a headstrong cat named Mando, and flanked by two lovely café options (re.sen and Sublims).
Doris asked Gemini AI to create an infographic for our 11th anniversary based on our website. With a few minor tweaks, it turned out quite well – and interestingly, Gem designed them differently for English and German readers:

Creative Goldsmith Maren Giloy
We are delighted that part of the coworking space is once again a creative art space this year. There, you can find Maren Giloy in her studio, working as a master goldsmith and diamond & gemstone appraisal expert. She looks forward to your visit! On May 30th, you’ll have a relaxed opportunity to pop in and see her until 5 pm, after the hustle and bustle of the market.

Art with a Message: Dörte Wehmeyer
On Whit Sunday, the artist once again opened the gates to her Finca Can Blau in Cala Llombards. Her permanent exhibition, ‘Garden of Tolerance’, featured reworked pieces and new installations, as Dörte Wehmeyer constantly engages with current issues in politics and society.
On the 2go2-Mallorca blog, Doris has written an article sharing her impressions. It’s accompanied by some great photos, as the weather was perfect for capturing the contrast between the rust-red installations and the stunning blue sky. The language of the post is German, but the photos are stunning anyways.
